Le Tote Box #2

So I’m gonna show you guys what I got in my latest Le Tote box, and the things I liked and didn’t like about the items!

In my box this time I got three garments and 2 accessories. I got one more dressy shirt, a more casual shirt, and a skirt. I also got a scarf and a necklace for accessories. I was super excited when i got this box. It had stuff in it that i had in “my closet” on the website. My first box I got, I wasn’t very impressed because they sent me only one thing that was in “my closet” and also sent things that just weren’t my kind thing. But this box i was super happy with.

The first shirt I received was this cute burgundy-red and black long sleeve top. I loved this shirt! I wore it as more of a casual outfit, but you could totally vamp it up into more of a night out outfit. I just paired the shirt with some dark wash jeans and black flats. This shirt is from the brand RD Style and is sold at retail price for $68.

The second top I received was this amazing top from Style Stalker. I absolutely loved this top online, and I LOVED it in person too! It’s a peplum top, but with a twist. It looks short in front, but has this long “tail” on the back that drapes in the back. I love the shirt, but because of the material it’s made of, and being lined inside as well, the back end was super heavy. It would pull the shirt back and down in the back, making the from collar come up as far as it could on my neck. Besides the heaviness, I loved this shirt! This shirt retails at $148, such a great deal with Le Tote!

The last clothing item I got was this super cute lace black skirt from Lemieux. At first when I put this in “my closet,” I thought it was a dress because the model is dressed with a black shirt as well, so it looked like a dress. But I was still happy and excited to get this skirt. I got a size small, and with my skirt I like them to lay on my waistline, but this skirt was a little loose on me so it fell to a little below my hips. It was still wearable, but just a little big for my taste. The skirt itself is adorable! I love the mix of lace on it. This skirt retails at $68.

For accessories I got a scarf and necklace. The scarf was from Blue Pacific Fashion and retails at $48. I loved this scarf! I was almost tempted to keep it, I loved it so much! It’s a great lightweight scarf you could wear year round. They have it available in three colors on the website as well. The necklace I received was giant_November_Jewelry_Ecom_14-795from Adia K and retails at $34. I actually didn’t wear this necklace at all while I had this box. I just didn’t have anything it went with, and I actually didn’t like the lengths of the two parts of it. They were connected so you couldn’t change the short one’s length without changing the long one’s length. The short part was just too short, and they were sort of like arrows, and they didn’t seem to set pointing down at the same time, one would be crooked and the other would be fine.

I was really happy with my box this time! Time to send it off and anxiously wait for the next!FullSizeRender

I want your help! I’m thinking about making a new makeup tutorial, what would you guys want to see? Let me know in the comments!

*OFFER HAS EXPIRED*

Long time no talk, huh? I’ve been horrible, and haven’t posted anything in TWO MONTHS! I’ve been super busy, and haven’t had any time to post anything, and really didn’t have anything to post about. But hopefully things will start to change now!

So I wanted to talk to you guys about an awesome website and service that I think you will like! For a while now I have known about Le Tote, but because of the price I just never actually subscribed to it. But, this past month they have been doing a deal I couldn’t pass up! For a short time you can get a whole MONTH FREE from Le Tote!

“Okay, a month free of what?” you might ask. A month free of CLOTHES AND JEWELRY! I personally wear new clothing like crazy when I first buy them and then barely ever wear it again after a month. Well this service is my savior! Instead of spending money on a bunch of clothes, then getting sick of them, with Le Tote I can get a box sent to my front door for FREE with 3-6 clothing pieces and 2-3 Jewelry pieces. Then when I’m sick of them or done with them, I just send them back with the already prepaid shipping label from them. This box is normally $50 a month, and you can get it for FREE for one month!

These aren’t just clothes you see being sold at Walmart, these are high-end clothes, that I personally would never spend the amount of money they actually cost. They send brands like BCBGeneration, Nordstrom, Anthropologie, Nasty Gal, and many more.

Here’s exactly how it works:

Free 3 day shipping both ways, don’t even have to wash them, cancel at anytime, unlimited clothes for a month, what else could you want?

What’s really cool is that other people that have gotten these clothes can upload pictures of their outfit and how they styled the clothing item or jewelry piece. Here’s my photo from when I got this striped shirt:

Another cool thing about Le Tote is that if you really like the item, you can keep it and you will automatically be charged a member’s discounted price. Things can still be a bit pricey, even with the discount, but other things are a good deal!

You can get this awesome deal RIGHT NOW, RIGHT HERE!

Try it out, see if you like it or not, cancel it whenever you want! I will keep you guys posted on my boxes and what I liked and didn’t.

Nuit à Paris!

Nuit à Paris!

What’s YOUR dream night abroad? If you could go out on the town for one night in any city, state, country, continent, where would you chose?

My dream night abroad would be in the most exqusite city ever, Paris! It has been my life long dream to go to Paris. Now, if I were to go to paris, where would I go? What would I see? Where would I (most importantly) eat? What would I wear? How would I communicate? How would I try to not look like a tourist, because don’t we all just hate feeling like a tourist?

First step of not looking like a tourist, your appearance! Of course, I created an outfit on Polyvore to show you guys what my dream outfit would be on my evening out in Paris.

Paris Outfit

Now what would I do and where would I eat in Paris? Well of course, I would visit the Eiffel Tower! Eat dinner at the marvelous le Jules Verne Restaurant located INSIDE the Eiffel Tower. And maybe stop by Ladurée and pick up a dozen of Paris’ finest French Macarons for dessert.

Nuit à Paris!

Now I may be in the most wonderful city ever, but how am I going to get around if I don’t speak french?? One way is to meet people! Make friends with the locals while on your trip. If you’re not up to meeting new people, there are so many apps out there that can help you with the language barrier. You could also bring along a friend that is fluent or knows enough french to get you around the town. I have heard that in that area, most people do speak english, so just read up on some of the common french words you would need to know, and you’re set!

For today’s video I thought I would share a fall-inspired look with you guys, featuring the new Lorac Pro 2 Palette!

I did a walk-through sort of video, so let me know if you like this better than just text over the video. Hope you guys injoy the video, and look forward for more videos!

Melt Your Face Off Facial Mask!

So I had the strangest experience today trying out a sample face mask from Biore.

I got a sample of the Biore Self HEATING One Minute Mask with an order from dELiA*s. First of all, it was an exchange order, and I didn’t get the sample with my first order, which is strange. I guess it was a “sorry” gift, or something. So I gave it a try today.

biore 1

Since I got the mask, I kept reading it as a Self HEALING mask, so when I actually used the mask, I was frantic. I did like the package said, start with a clean, wet face. Opened the little sample, squeezed some onto my hand, rubbed my hands together, and here’s the scary part.. It got super hot!

Now if I had read the package right, I would not have been so surprised. So while rubbing it on my face, I re-read the package, and I was like “There is nothing that says it gets hot!” (Serious blonde moment.)

Besides the fact that I can’t read labels right, I liked the mask! I think its a cool concept, of heating and charcoal. The mask is suppose to trap and draw out deep-down impurities because of the charcoal. It supposedly removes 2x more dirt, oil, and gunk that hides deep in your pore. It definitely felt like it got deep in my pores. My theory is that because of the heating element and charcoal, just like using warm water on your skin, it opens up your pores, releasing the junk in your pores.

I would definitely buy this product to see if there are some more noticeable results, because you really can’t know if it works or not, by using it once. It came with a $1.00 off coupon, so I may go purchase this soon.
