Canon Rebel T3 Test Photos

I recently got a Canon Rebel T3 DSLR camera, and like many people I always look up reviews and test photos for cameras if I am thinking of purchasing one. So for those that are in the market for purchasing a DSLR camera, here are some preview/test photos. These are not edited or photoshopped, hope you enjoy!

Photography

Looking at old photos recently, it made me think of the whole purpose and reasoning of photography. Back in the 1960’s and earlier, photography was used as a way to capture moments that they want to keep forever. People would take photos with their very first car, sitting on the steps of their new home, their son’s wedding, family vacations to the beach, and all sorts of memories they want to cherish their whole lives.

Now, I’m not saying that most people today don’t do that, but back in the day, people didn’t have smartphones, digital cameras, iPads, or any of that stuff. They didn’t pull out their smartphone when they went to Starbucks for a cup of coffee, or to take a selfie. People back then used photography in a way that few people still do today. People today, myself included ( I admit ), take the use of a camera and the purpose of photography for granted. We spend countless hours talking photos of ourselves, or the food we just ate, or the clothes we just bought. Seriously, when your 70 some years old, are you going to look back at your photos and be like “Oh man, that shirt, I got such a good deal on that,” or “That was the best frappuccino I ever had!” Probably not.

Photography is a way for us to capture moments that we want to look back on and have a smile on our face because it brings back all those happy moments we had in our lives. We don’t want to be the one who looks back and thinks “All I did was take photos of myself!”

Capture the moments!
